Hello dudes and dudettes!
Welcome to the new East Coast Aircooled forum folks!
With the cooler months rapidly approaching I know many dubs are getting tucked away for another year, so lets use this forum to keep in touch and keep the dub vibe flowing into the new year....

Nice forum!
Hello missus
It is a nice forum, perhaps with the exception of that annoying banner thing that has suddenly appeared up there.... /\
Bigidy bigidy bong!
Hello to one and all
Congratulations for another great idea from the ever wondrous mind of Jason (I don't know where you find the time? I can't help but wonder if there is a little help from the Z?)
All the best
Jake, near Bunwell, which is not far from Attleborough, which is just off the A11 about 15 miles south of Norwich, which you may be aware is about 44 miles west of Downham Market.

What a good idea...........
Hiya,
just spotted this via Volksworld site and as I'm East Coast (ish) - Rayleigh - Essex,
thought why not , in fact it has occurred to me for a while :-
Why don't we have a Brighton Breeze / Run to the Sun / Skeg Vegas type thing on
the East Coast side , the others have become mega -are we missing an oportunity here?. Something central (Clacton Classic? ) would pull from Essex/Suffok/Norfolk.
Just the germ of an idea ...............Cheers -JIM.

Re: Hello dudes and dudettes!
Hi and welcome Jim, thought I recognised the username from somewhere.
The show idea is something that has been mentioned before and is certainly worth some thought. As the club / forum grows maybe we get enough people on board to put something together if we can find a suitable, IE free, venue that doesnt mind a load of VW reprobates taking it over for the weekend..

Eastcoast Show idea.....
Yes , I think realistically the first thing needed is a Council that is pro the idea, ie:
willing to make the 'front' or 'prom' or somewhere close (a Park) available. And I
think it would start with a one day event - probably made up of "localish" clubs in
the first instance - then develop into a weekender.
The only reason I said Clacton Classic is cos it sort of rhymes and is about midway
between say Southend and Yarmouth on the map , there is (was?) a VW outfit
near there (VW Services) but the website seems defunct - thought they might know the local Councillors?. Certainly the A12 access would make it viable for Anglian region
as a whole - any Dubs & Classics people from that neck of the woods?......JIM.

The Z? Is that me?? Only the banner and a tiny bit of HTML help, other than that it's all Jason's own handywork.
